District baseball postponed due to rain
•The District 2A-11 District Tournament has been postponed until Monday, May 12.
The schedule Monday is as follows:
Crocker vs. Laquey at 10 a.m.
Iberia vs. Dixon, 12:30 p.m.
Plato vs. Richland, 3 p.m.
Licking vs. Eugene, 5:30 p.m.
•The District 3A-9 District Tournament scheduled for Saturday has been postponed until Monday, May 12.
The Schedule of Games is as follows:
Warsaw vs. Osage, 4:30 p.m. at Clinton
Eldon vs. Warrensburg, 4:30 p.m. at Warrensburg
Clinton vs. Versailles, 6:45 p.m. at Clinton
Holden vs. Knob Noster, 6:45 p.m. at Warrensburg

Teams needed for softball tourney
The Eldon VFW Softball league is searching for teams to play in a fund-raising tournament for cancer research.
This is a double-elimination tournament scheduled for May 16-18 at the VFW softball field. Entry fee is $125 per team and 12 teams are needed to fill out the tournament.
